Thistle Systems has enabled one of the UK’s leading drinks companies to transform its facilities with a major upgrade to its toiler areas to increase morale, improve hygiene standards and reduce energy consumption.
Thistle worked closely with the client to develop the specification, design and layouts for 3 separate toilet areas using its Max the Cube approach to interiors which is focused on maximising the available space whilst dramatically reducing the operational costs.
Thistle developed a solution which featured antibacterial wet wall and IPS vanity units to hide all pipe work and create a smooth easy clean finish. Antibacterial vinyl flooring with covered corners was also installed to prevent dust and bacteria from gathering.
As with the core Max the Cube philosophy, Thistle Systems were able to dramatically reduce the operational costs by installing LED lighting to all areas which are activated by motion sensors. The outdated and inefficient hand dryers were also replaced with new high powered, low energy hand dryers.
