Continuing the investment to keep one step ahead of the competition, Thistle Systems has completed a major fit out of the the Crieff based visitor centre offices as it aims to attract and retain the very best talent in the whisky tourism sector.
With a focus on productivity, space utilisation as well as the health and wellbeing of its team, the office space has been completely redesigned to suit the work flows and the people.
Gone are large cluttered desks with individual storage and traditional filing cabinets with the introduction of new ergonomically designed work stations and chairs for individual workings, high density storage walls and mobile shelving for those essential files.
The old-fashioned boardroom has been transformed into two meeting rooms, separated by a folding wall with an acoustic drop down seal. As a result, the room can be combined to form one large formal space if required and also includes video conferencing facilities.
The saving in space has been used to create a new informal meeting area as well as hot desking facilities for other team members in the group to use. The capacity of the washrooms has increased and both have been completely modernised. The kitchen area has also been redesigned to include a staff seating area.
The office uses the latest in energy saving technology with LED lighting and air conditioning to dramatically reduce running costs and create a modern and vibrant environment which fits with the brand values and its adjoining visitor centre.
