Creating a productive office environment requires a combination of private and shared work spaces as well as achieving the right balance of desks and office storage. So when one of the leading whisky companies was looking to transform their HR and Finance suite, they called upon the experience of Thistle Systems.

Collaborative Approach Transforms Office

After carrying out a survey and discussing the project with the client and employees, Thistle delivered a solution which created a modern environment by opening up the entire office using a combination of glass partitioning, modern design and effective space planning.

Thistle’s solution not only increased the number of available desks from 11 to 18 but also created 2 additional private management offices, each with their own meeting space. Thistle replaced the existing storage cupboard with an integrated mobile shelving system to double the storage capacity.

As part of the design, Thistle were also able to create a small tea preparation area as well as an additional area which could be used as an informal meeting room or a private work space to allow a member of the team to carry out focused work.
