Unfortunately, the theft of stock is a critical issue in stores and warehouses across the country, however Thistle Systems has developed a solution for one of our clients that wanted to take matters into its own hands.
Working with the General Stores Manager, Thistle Systems developed a solution that featured over 45 square metres of mesh panelling to provide pallet racking security and protect the joinery stores from general unauthorised access. This solution is ideal for busy, open environments or where high value products are stored.
To provide access for loading and unloading of materials, Thistle designed and installed a bi-parting lockable door system capable of accommodating a fork lift truck. As part of the project, Thistle also installed a galvanised cantilever racking system to the yard area which it also fitted with security mesh panels as well as a corrugated roof to provide the materials with shelter.
Thistle Systems’ Managing Director, Mike Cairns, explained, “Mesh panels and security caging are an area of our product portfolio that has grown rapidly as companies look to increase the protection of their stock or high value assets.”
