With a growing team of employees, the client needed additional office space which would not only fit within the existing warehouse but would also enable the company to continue to attract and retain high calibre employees through a stylish and modern design.

The mezzanine floor enables the client to maximise the available height of the building, with the structure being designed to fit within the apex of the roof. In turn, this creates a striking feature in the facility, with large floor to ceiling windows to open up the offices to the production area.

The extended office facility created by the mezzanine accommodates an additional 20 staff with 12 office staff located downstairs with a further 8 upstairs.

As part of the project, Thistle’s mezzanine floor team applied the Max the Cube approach to really maximise the space of the office.

This enabled the client to create five separate meeting spaces, a formal boardroom with bespoke boardroom table to accommodate up to 14 people, 2 smaller private meeting rooms, a dedicated collaboration space with a high-level desk and seating, as well as an informal meeting space.

With health and wellbeing being a key priority for the client, the offices featured height adjustable desks at every station to suit the ergonomics of the team member.
