Of Heavy Duty Shelving
Having transformed its external storage facilities, Thistle were asked to look at the main workspace and stores area and carry out necessary improvements. Thistle’s project team worked with the client to understand the requirements, the products being stored and the work flows before completing the full design and fit out.
Thistle specified work benches featuring high density drawer cabinets with optimized dividers to suit small components such as screws etc. which are used by the client on a regular basis. This therefore reduces travel times between the work area and the stores.
Larger items are stored on heavy duty long span shelving and bins were also specified to safely and efficiently store small parts within a relatively small footprint.
COSHH cabinets were supplied to securely store chemicals and hazardous substances whilst high value products such as copper and power tools were stored on long span shelving within secure mesh enclosures.
