Thistle Systems has demonstrated the power of its Max the Cube approach by developing a bespoke storage solution for one of Scotland’s largest bus companies which maximises every available space.

Thistle was commissioned to design and fit out the parts store in its new depot with a solution which could accommodate every part from small components such as nuts and bolts to large items such as bespoke window glass.
Working closely with the client to understand volumes and stock rotation, Thistle designed a solution with 4 depths of shelving and a variety of dividers and small parts storage to maximise the utilisation and minimise dead space.
To store the larger items, Thistle also designed and installed a run of racking with one area doubled up to allow the large window glass to be stored. In addition, Thistle also maximised every available wall area with louvre panels, spiggots and small part storage to provide valuable additional storage. The parts store also featured secure COSHH cabinets and work benches.
