Thistle Systems has enabled a global leader in the oil and gas sector to maximise the capacity within the available floor space in one of their Aberdeen depots by designing and installing a narrow aisle racking system with over 1850 pallet positions.
From guide rail to guide rail
Working in conjunction with the client and their preferred supplier of forklift trucks, Thistle was able to design a racking system with an aisle width measuring 1400mm from guide rail to guide rail.
Thistle also maximised the available height of the pitched roof by increasing the number of pallet levels on the bays from 4 to 6.
