Thistle Systems has enabled a major drinks manufacturer to free up 432 square metres of space for a new production facility by installing one of the largest continuous blocks of push back racking in its history.
Featuring 288 individual pallet locations in just 188 square metres of floor space, the 4-deep push back racking solution offers 24 lanes and is 3 pallets high.
The company was looking for a high density pallet racking storage solution to provide the required level of storage in the minimum space possible to meet growing demand. Using their Max the Cube approach, Thistle developed an efficient solution which saw the push back racking accommodate finished goods on the bottom level, raw materials on the second level and packaging to the top level.
Thistle Systems’ push back racking with their cart system provides the client with complete control during the delivery and retrieval process. This ensures the products are stored safely and securely – dramatically reducing the risk of damage to stock. Thistle also future proofed the solution by ensuring the carts could accommodate the Chep, US and Euro pallets.
