Two Tier Shelving Solution

Thistle designed a longspan shelving solution with a 2.1metre beam as opposed to the standard 2.7metre length. This not only had the advantage of providing the client with picking bays which were smaller in size to suit the size of products but also would minimise any deflection on the garment racking.

Thistle’s bolt-less shelving system and the smaller beam lengths means that the client can quickly adjust the height of the shelving to suit their changing portfolio of products – all without requiring Thistle’s installation team.

The client was also looking for a fast track programme to ensure the warehouse was fully functional for one of its busiest period and after agreeing the design, layout and specifications, Thistle Systems was on site within two and a half weeks.
